Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring an Equipment Operator with a valid driver license to operate heavy equipment and perform vegetation management duties for utility line clearance. You will travel to multiple sites, maintain equipment, and work in varied weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders and dump trucks.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barricades and culverts.
• Operate brush cutters, wood chippers and apply herbicides as required.
• Maintain and service equipment; work around hazardous conditions.
