Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines as part of our utility vegetation management team.

The role is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement options. CDL is preferred, and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Backhoes, Skid steers, Excavators, Loaders, Dump trucks, Mowers and Stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire.
• Gathers brush and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Uses a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Works around hazardous equipment and wears hearing protection.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
