Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and clear vegetation from electrical lines. This role involves transporting equipment across multiple state locations, installing gates and culverts, and maintaining machinery in good working order.

Position is full-time with competitive, hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. Must be at least 18, possess general knowledge of tree species and electrical hazards, and have a valid driver

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire, culverts and base.
• Work around hazardous equipment and wear hearing protection in noisy environments.
• Maintain equipment in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
