Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator for a project in Russel Springs, KY. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, trenchers, and backhoes, ensuring safe and efficient work in outdoor conditions.

You will perform inspections, document results, conduct routine maintenance, and read blueprints to execute earthworks to project specs. CDL may be required; overtime, weekends, and holidays may apply depending on project demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grade stakes.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on project needs.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, trenchers and backhoes safely.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and complete required documentation.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report issues to supervision.
• Dig trenches, grade surfaces, move materials and backfill per specs and blueprints.
• Read blueprints and grade stakes; communicate progress and needs with crew.
• Maintain clean, organized work area; assist ground crew as needed.
