Job summary

Primoris Energy Services seeks an experienced heavy equipment operator to safely and efficiently operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders on construction sites in Russell Springs, Kentucky. You’ll perform inspections, load materials, prepare sites, and ensure adherence to project plans and safety protocols.

The role requires 2–5 years of equipment operation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• NCCER or equivalent heavy equipment operator certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes and other construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders) on construction sites.
• Perform pre/post-shift inspections and report defects.
• Load/unload materials and prepare sites per plans.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure project success.
• Complete daily production reports and documentation.
• Assist with manual labor as needed.
