Primoris Services Corporation in Russell Springs, KY is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators for a project. You will operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, trenchers, and backhoes to construct according to blueprints.

Daily inspections, routine maintenance, and safety compliance with OSHA/MSHA are required. CDL may be needed; clean driving record is important.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience operating various heavy construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL may be required depending on project needs.
• Strong understanding of grading, excavation, and material handling techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and grade stakes.
• Excellent understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically able to perform manual labor (lifting up to 50 lb) and endure extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays; pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (includes excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, trenchers, backhoes).
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections and document results.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report issues to supervisors.
• Dig trenches, grade surfaces, move materials, and backfill per project specs and blueprints.
• Adhere to OSHA, MSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Read blueprints, grade stakes, and other project documents to ensure accurate execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist ground crew when not operating equipment.
• Work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
