Scotty’s Contracting and Stone in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for our Heavy Civil Division. You will operate loaders, backhoes, track hoes, haul trucks, and water trucks under the Foreman’s direction.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience performing similar key responsibilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record in good standing.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
• Take direction from Foreman for assignments and duties.
• Perform minor servicing maintenance or refer major problems.
• Report hazards or issues promptly.
• Maintain positive working relationships and support teamwork.
• Complete required documentation.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other physical tasks to maintain the job site.
