B&S Site Development LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support large-scale, time-sensitive civil construction projects. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and related machinery while maintaining strict safety standards on active job sites.

This role requires 1–2 years of construction experience, a GED or higher, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED or high school diploma or related work experience.
• Trade school or prior experience operating a variety heavy equipment a plus
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment/materials up to 50 pounds
• Capacity to provide and follow direction.
• Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
• Excavate trenches for utility installation with precision.
• Assist crews in storm, water, and sewer pipe installation.
• Always follow site safety protocols.
• Communicate with coworkers to elucidate project specifications, as needed.
• Report injuries and other accidents to the Foreman and Job Superintendent.
• Inspect and fuel vehicle prior to beginning shift.
