Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Columbus, OH. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and trucks to prepare sites, trench for utilities, and move materials, while ensuring safety and adherence to project specs.

Requirements include 1–2 years of construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the capacity to follow instructions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Able to take direction and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely (bulldozers, excavators, loaders, compactors, dump trucks).
• Excavate trenches for utilities (water, drainage, sewer).
• Assist with pipe installation and backfilling tasks as required.
• Adhere to project and company safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with crew to prepare and move materials efficiently.
