Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team in the Dayton area. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery to prepare sites for complex civil projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on every shift.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction experience.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Trade school or prior heavy equipment experience a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of following direction and working under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes and other heavy equipment.
• Excavate trenches for utility installation with precision.
• Assist crews with storm, water, and sewer pipe installation.
• Follow site safety protocols at all times.
• Prepare sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
• Communicate with coworkers to clarify project specifications as needed.
• Report injuries and accidents to Foreman and Job Superintendent.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
