McGill Environmental Systems in Morrisville, PA is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator for our 3rd shift. You will operate heavy equipment to move, process, and transport organic materials, contributing to sustainable composting and soil product production.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with competitive starting pay of $31 per hour plus shift differential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating wheel loaders, front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, telehandlers, backhoes, or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience in composting, recycling, construction, landscaping, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work around dust, dirt, mud, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Morrisville facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hyundai HL960A and Hyundai HL970A Wheel Loaders, Front-End Loaders, Small Excavators, Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Backhoes, Grinders, Screeners, and other heavy equipment
• Load trucks and transport materials throughout the facility
• Perform blending and material processing operations
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety checks
• Identify and report maintenance needs or equipment issues
• Support production goals while maintaining quality standards
• Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and PPE requirements
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs
• Maintain a safe, productive, and efficient work environment
• Complete other duties as assigned
