Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or technical training preferred.
• Five years experience in diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment.
• Caterpillar experience preferred.
• Must own required tools.
• Must have a current CDL with air brake experience and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).

Responsibilities

• Manages customer base and territory; schedules all customer work.
• Performs machine diagnostics and repairs in field or at customer locations.
• Uses troubleshooting methods to repair and diagnose failures; escalate as needed.
• Adapts Caterpillar systems knowledge to troubleshoot new equipment models.
• Works overtime and overnight as required.
• Completes service reports and paperwork daily.
• Communicates repair status to customers during service.
