Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or technical training from a vocational school is preferred.
• Five years experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment; Caterpillar experience preferred.
• Must own required tools.
• CDL with air brake experience and acceptable driving record; DOT compliant.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment in field or shop settings.
• Interpret results from tests and determine extent of repair.
• Apply troubleshooting methods to diagnose failures and perform repairs.
• Repair machines within TRG time guidelines and maintain safety standards.
• Use web-based systems (STW, SIS, ET) to address technical issues and complete reports.
