Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician A in Cleveland to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment. You will work on chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drive train, and steering components, with on-site and road service.

The role offers ongoing training and career growth within a large fleet. Qualified candidates typically have 5–7 years of heavy-truck technician experience, ASE

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience with chassis, braking, diesel fuel and Aftertreatment systems.
• Ability to diagnose electrical concerns using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair chassis components and refuse bodies, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Repair and diagnose engines, fuel systems, and aftertreatment systems; perform line maintenance.
• Perform welding, fabrication and on-road repairs as needed; complete required company trainings.
