Job summary

Continental's BestDrive is hiring a Tire Service Technician in the United States. The role involves dismounting, mounting, balancing and repairing tires for commercial vehicle and off-the-road equipment, with duties including wheel mounting, tire inspection, and emergency service. Safety and service quality are emphasized.

We offer a Service Technician sign-on bonus tier (I–IV) up to $4,500, paid after 30, 90, and 180 days upon eligibility, plus immediate benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a DOT physical.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Clear communication, both verbal and written, with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders and communicate with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt/bbolt wheels with lug wrenches and power tools.
• Mount/dismount off-the-road tires including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights/weekends on rotation.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
