Job summary

Continental’s BestDrive is hiring a Tire Service Technician to service commercial vehicle tires and perform mounting, dismounting, balancing and repairs for off-the-road equipment. The role requires fitness for duty to handle heavy tires and operate service equipment.

We offer a sign-on bonus program with tiered amounts by technician level and payments after 30, 90, and 180 days, subject to eligibility. Work hours are typically 7-5, with on-call nights/weekends and strong OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/unload tires on/off trucks.
• Repair tires.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed per company policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels on equipment.
• Mount/dismount off-the-road tires incl. multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service calls nights/weekends.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
