Job summary

BestDrive, a Continental subsidiary, is hiring a Service Technician in Illinois to dismount, mount, balance, and repair commercial tires for trucks and off-road equipment. This role requires safety awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Eligible candidates can receive tiered sign-on bonuses ($1,500 to $4,500) based on technician level, with payments at 30, 90, and 180 days; a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Customer-service oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work on a team and independently.
• Clear verbal and written communication with co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires and inspect tires and wheels per procedures.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors and document work performed.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
