Connect-Force is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for Fleet Operations in Plymouth, MI. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on coordinating repairs, managing maintenance schedules, and keeping drivers moving.

You’ll work with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain high fleet availability. The ideal candidate has experience with heavy-duty trucks, diesel systems, and maintenance coordination, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks, diesel equipment, fleet maintenance, or coordinating vehicle repairs.
• Strong understanding of truck mechanical systems, particularly hydraulics.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn maintenance software.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate emergency roadside repairs and maintenance services for heavy trucks and equipment.
• Communicate with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Arrange maintenance services, follow up on repair progress, and ensure timely repairs.
• Work with operations and terminal personnel to coordinate solutions when equipment breaks down.
• Assist with transportation and lodging arrangements during breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service updates, and maintenance activities.
• Provide updates to drivers, maintenance teams, and shifts for smooth repairs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and fleet efficiency.
