Connect-Force in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support fleet operations. You will coordinate emergency roadside repairs, schedule regular maintenance, and ensure equipment stays on the road.

This role blends hands-on mechanical knowledge with proactive planning in a team environment. Ideal candidates have experience with heavy‑duty trucks or diesel equipment, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks, diesel equipment, fleet maintenance, or coordinating vehicle repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and learning maintenance software.
• High school diploma or GED; trade training appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Keep Drivers Moving: Coordinate emergency roadside repairs and maintenance services for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Be the Problem Solver: Communicate with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate Repairs: Arrange maintenance services, follow up on progress, ensure safe, timely road return.
• Support the Team: Work with operations to solve equipment breakdowns and plan contingencies.
• Stay Organized: Maintain records of repairs, service updates, and maintenance activities.
• Keep Everyone Informed: Provide updates to drivers and shifts for smooth transitions.
