Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an experienced A Technician to diagnose and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles, including heavy- and light-duty trucks. You will work on Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus equipment, using factory service manuals and vehicle computer systems.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to guide other shop technicians. CDL-B and ASE credentials are preferred, with OSHA safety awareness a must.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair drive train components.
• Perform general engine inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Inspect and repair transmission systems.
• Uphold OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and direction to shop technicians.
• Utilize computers for data tracking and communication (dossier, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintenance and repair of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
• Support coworkers to work safely and efficiently.
• Complete required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
