Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an A Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical and hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles including Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil and McNeilus. CDL B preferred and up to 7 ASE certifications pursued within 36 months.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, completing paperwork, and supporting coworkers to ensure a safe, efficient shop environment. 3–5 years of hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance and repair of medium duty class 8 vehicles.
• Familiar with OSHA safety requirements for vehicle fleets.
• CDL Class B preferred or ability to obtain.
• Target is up to 7 ASE certifications within 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain and repair fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles (Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus).
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
