Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an Advanced Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, body components and systems on heavy and light duty refuse and recycling vehicles. Expect hands-on diagnostic work on Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Must provide drive train, engine and transmission inspection/repair.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge and application.
• Ability to use service manuals and vehicle electronics to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair trucks in a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintain and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles/equipment.
• Complete paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Follow safety policies and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Use vehicle electronics to identify failure modes for repairs.
• Perform safety checks and repairs per factory manuals.
• Uphold high ethics and dependability.
