Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking an experienced A Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. You may perform welding and fabrication as needed within a maintenance environment.

The role involves diagnostics for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles, maintenance of various truck brands, and adherence to safety policies and paperwork requirements. OSHA compliance is emphasized.

Qualifications

Diagnose and repair drive train, engine, transmission and electrical systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks.
Perform inspections and repairs in accordance with service manuals and safety policies.
Maintain documentation and follow OSHA safety requirements in the workshop.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, diagnose issues for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
Maintain and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
Support coworkers to work safely and efficiently and complete paperwork promptly.
Follow safety policies and keep a clean, compliant work area.
Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret fault codes and plan repairs.
Carry out safety checks and repairs using factory service manuals.
