Job summary

Waste Pro USA seeks an A Technician to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems on heavy and light duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel, and CNG. Welding and fabrication may be required.

You will diagnose a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles, repair and maintain Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus equipment, follow safety policies, complete paperwork, and use onboard computer systems to pin failures and drive repairs.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, and body systems.
• Experience with heavy- and light-duty trucks; diesel, gasoline, or CNG systems.
• Welding and fabrication may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics for a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Repair and maintenance of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus vehicles.
• Support coworkers and maintain safety and OSHA compliance.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Utilize vehicle computer systems to interpret failure modes and assign repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to safety policies.
