Job summary
Waste Pro USA seeks an experienced A Technician to diagnose and repair heavy- and light-duty trucks, including diesel, gasoline, and CNG systems. You will perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic and body work in a safety-conscious shop.
Experience with Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil and McNeilus equipment is preferred. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will diagnose fleet issues, utilize vehicle electronics, complete paperwork, and uphold OSHA standards while
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy- and medium-duty trucks.
- Prefer experience in waste and recycling fleet maintenance.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements for vehicle fleets.
- Ability to obtain 7 ASE certifications within 36 months.
- CDL Class B preferred or able to obtain CDL.
- Proficient with factory service manuals and vehicle diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records and paperwork.
- Assist, mentor and direct shop technicians as needed.
- Ensure safe work practices and clean work area.
