Job summary

You will thread and repair breakouts, monitor yarn quality, prepare tubes for winding, and perform routine housekeeping and safety procedures. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and willingness to undergo on-the-job training; experience in yarn/manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards.
• Proactively identifies yarn quality during production runs.
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation.
• Doffs off finished yarn packages as required.
• Run both creeling and winding side when needed.
• Uses black light to check there are no mixes.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating and safety procedures as well as company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
