Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of on the job training
• Health and environmental safety training completed
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend yarn-twisting machines.
• Creel yarn packages and load yarn into twister.
• Reposition buggies of yarn and stage tubes for winder operation
• Thread ends of yarns, operate spindle, repair breakouts during production
• Doff twisted yarn packages and transfer them to a buggy or container
• Monitor production output and machine equipment for safe, efficient operation
• Clean and dechoke spindles to maintain machine efficiency
• Perform quality checks using standard methods
• Follow all SOPs and safety procedures; perform housekeeping and other tasks
