Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Superba Operator for the 2nd shift to safely operate heatset machinery and support finish application in yarn conversion.

You will help meet quality, production, and efficiency goals while maintaining product standards across the yarn process. Responsibilities include threading and repairing breakouts, identifying yarn quality, selecting tubes for winding, doffing finished yarn, creeling and winding, inspecting with a black light, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Team-based work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in basic math relevant to production tasks.
• Ability to handle standard variable-based problems in operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality and production goals.
• Function as primary finish application source in yarn conversion.
• Thread and repair breakouts to maintain efficiency.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Select and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Doff finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding sides when needed.
• Use black light to verify no color mixes.
• Attend required training and follow safety procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping and other tasks as assigned.
