Mohawk Industries, Inc. seeks a SUPERBA OPERATOR on the D shift to operate heatset machinery and manage finish applications in yarn conversion. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient production while maintaining equipment, materials, and daily housekeeping.

The ideal candidate will perform routine checks, stage components for winding, and assist with creeling as needed, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and environmental safety training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heatset machinery to meet quality, production and efficiency goals.
• Function as primary finish application source in yarn conversion.
• Threads and repairs breakouts to maintain efficiency and meet production standards.
• Proactively identify yarn quality during production runs.
• Selects and stages tubes for winder operation.
• Doffs off finished yarn packages as required.
• Run creeling and winding side when needed.
• Use black light to check for mixings.
• Follow all SOPs and safety procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by management.
