Job summary

Jetson is hiring experienced HVAC Installers in Colorado Springs to remove aging gas equipment and install high-quality heat pump systems. You’ll work on the front lines of the clean energy transition, depend on blueprints and local codes, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include full install work, refrigerant recovery, and ensuring safety standards. The role requires an HVACR licence, EPA 608, and strong attention to quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HVACR licence (required)
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required or in progress)
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and compliance
• Strong refrigerant handling skills (recovery, evacuation, charging)
• Follows OSHA electrical standards and LOTO rules

Responsibilities

• Install full heat pump systems from start to finish, removing gas furnaces and A/C as needed
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and correct charging
• Prepare spaces after removal to ensure a solid start for the new install
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to install and troubleshoot
• Ensure compliance with local codes before completing each job
• Deliver excellent customer experience and address questions on site
• Identify and flag quality issues early and correct them promptly
• Keep vehicles and warehouse organized and stocked
• Collaborate with other installers and engineering to improve processes
