Job summary

Jetson is seeking experienced HVAC Installers to install heat pump systems in residential settings in Burbank, CA. You will remove aging gas equipment, install new heat pump systems, and ensure customer satisfaction with a high standard of work.

You’ll work on the front lines of the clean energy transition, collaborating with our engineering team to continuously improve processes while maintaining strict adherence to local codes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification required or in progress.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Solid hands-on residential HVAC install experience.
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing gas furnaces and A/C equipment and cleaning the space.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and charging with care and accuracy.
• Prepare spaces after removal to ensure the install starts smoothly.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to install correctly and troubleshoot confidently.
• Stay current on local building codes and ensure compliance on every job.
• Deliver a standout customer experience by addressing questions and concerns on the spot.
• Identify and call out quality issues early and seek corrective action.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked vehicle and warehouse as part of daily routine.
• Collaborate with fellow installers and the engineering team to improve processes.
