Job summary

Jetson Home Inc. is seeking a Lead Installer in Colorado to perform full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing gas furnaces and ensuring a clean, compliant finish.

You will guide junior technicians, read blueprints, and uphold a high quality bar while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You bring extensive residential HVAC install experience, proof of EPA 608 Certification, and strong knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on residential HVAC install experience in attics, crawl spaces and difficult environments.
• Experience leading an install crew and maintaining schedule accountability.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians on the job site.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing existing gas furnaces and AC equipment and leaving spaces clean.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging with care.
• Read and work from blueprints and wiring diagrams to install accurately and troubleshoot confidently.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes before wrap-up.
• Guide and support less experienced installers on the crew, dividing responsibilities clearly.
• Maintain high quality standards whether solo or with the team.
• Deliver a standout customer experience and communicate clearly with homeowners.
• Collaborate with engineers to surface better installation methods.
• Help build out the new market operation from the ground up.
