The Heart Failure Unit (5E) at Christiana Hospital is a 36-bed specialized post-critical care cardiac unit delivering high-acuity nursing care to complex heart failure and post-operative cardiac patients. RNs assess, monitor, administer meds, educate, and detect changes early, with a focus on LVAD and open-heart care.

BLS required; ACLS preferred; DE licensure or eligibility; BSN preferred with commitment to achieve BSN within 3 years of hire.

Formación

• BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years.
• At least one year of RN experience required.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity cardiac patients.
• Perform advanced assessment and continuous hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
