Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for CardioMEMS in Heart Failure. Drive therapy adoption, open new accounts, and grow revenue across implanting centers and community hospitals, while integrating the therapy into clinical workflows.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships with physicians, HF clinics, and administrators, delivering clinical and strategic presentations, and leading pricing and negotiations to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience; 2+ years in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding quota for consecutive years.
• Experience opening net-new accounts and expanding underdeveloped accounts.
• Strong understanding of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience leading 2-3 program launches/year with sustainability proof.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators, and stakeholders.
• Deliver clinical, technical, and strategic presentations to drive therapy adoption.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and value-based conversations.
• Plan and execute educational events on hemodynamics, GDMT, biomarkers, and local case studies.
• Provide day-of-procedure support and post-operative troubleshooting.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and manage quarterly business plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Professional Education, and Commercial Excellence teams.
• Track territory performance and pipeline activity.
