Job summary

NationsBenefits, LLC is hiring a Hearing Ambassador for the Sam’s Club Hearing Aid Center in Bakersfield, CA. You will engage customers, support hearing health needs, educate on hearing wellness, schedule appointments, and help grow the center through community outreach.

The role requires high school diploma and strong customer service or sales experience, plus comfort with computers and scheduling software. On-site, with active engagement in club events and tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
• Experience with PC hardware and software and general computer knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Prior experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center (HAC) products and services.
• Set the stage for full test and full purchase when interacting with Members.
• Complete 30-50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
• Secure a minimum of 4 immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist in the center.
• Promote and sell non-hearing aid products when Members do not have hearing loss.
• Aim for a 50% increase in non-hearing aid product sales.
• Learn and use the handheld screener as an intercepting tool to get qualified leads (state regulations permitting).
• Assist with calling past tested Members for appointments and referrals to schedule return visits.
• Promote HAC during Sam’s Club events and related marketing events.
• Based in HAC, spending about 95% of time walking the club, intercepting, and setting tests.
