Job summary

Sonova USA Inc. in Newton Center, MA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to work with clinicians to ensure patients receive quality care. The HCC handles scheduling, verifies benefits, and supports physicians and patients within the clinic.

You will greet patients, follow up with calls, manage forms, process payments, and assist with inventory and events. The role requires strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and experience in healthcare and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to current and former patients for scheduling follow-ups and weekly clinic evaluations.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain files and notes.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Complete benefit checks and insurance authorizations.
• Provide first-level support, assist with check-in/out and payments.
• Assist with repairs under supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional.
• Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
• Apply general sales knowledge for accessories and patient support.
• Process patient orders, verify pick-up, and input information.
• Maintain and clean equipment and input Sterile inventory?
• Submit equipment and facility requests and conduct general office duties.
• Manage inventory, orders, and stock levels; support community outreach events.
