Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Business Optimization Development Specialist to evaluate, improve, and implement clerical and administrative workflows across clinics and patient access centers. The role collaborates with operations leaders, EMR teams, and partners to identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and drive sustained change.

The position involves developing training materials, SOPs, and checklists, while coaching staff to adopt new workflows and improve the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or healthcare preferred or the equivalent of education and experience.
• Maintain continuing education activities related to EMR software and quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Observe day-to-day practice operations to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Recommend changes that improve efficiency, consistency, accountability, and patient experience.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and educational resources for sustained change.
• Provide hands-on coaching to support adoption of workflows.
• Promote workflows that support accurate, timely, and consistent administrative processes.
