You will serve as a liaison between patients, visitors, and clinicians, helping organize priorities, manage confidential information, and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to support efficient patient flow.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; related associate degree preferred.
• Administrative support experience 1–2 years.
• Proficiency with MS Office and medical terminology familiarization.
• Certified Health Unit Coordinator (NAHUC) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides administrative support to unit-based and hospital-wide clinicians and staff.
• Acts as liaison between patients, visitors, and clinicians; manages confidential information.
• Coordinates patient admissions, discharges, transfers; communicates with key stakeholders.
• Supports nursing to manage day-to-day patient flow and schedules.
• Performs clerical duties and uses electronic medical records for patient data.
• May assist with payroll duties, staff scheduling, or supervision of unit secretaries.
