Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff. You will be the first point of contact for staff, shaping their transition to Epic and helping save lives.

You’ll manage instructional design and develop training materials and scenarios for delivery, while collaborating with teams to create workflow-based content. External organizations will be involved to enhance training and projects to improve Epic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major)
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
• A history of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users and shape their Epic transition experience
• Involve in the full training process from instructional design to creating training materials and scenarios to be delivered
• Collaborate in tight-knit teams to design workflow-based training content and development for external organizations
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive and user-friendly
• Participate in tours or classroom-style presentations to educate and engage learners
