Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, in addition to supporting our own staff. You will design instructional materials and training scenarios and deliver sessions that help users smoothly transition to Epic and save lives.

You’ll work with a tight-knit team to create workflow-based content, collaborate with organizations on training programs, and contribute to projects that make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users.
• Be the first contact for staff and users, shaping their Epic transition experience.
• Develop training materials and scenarios from instructional design to delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and drive projects to improve software usability.
