Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. You’ll shape the user experience as they transition to Epic, from instructional design to delivering training materials and scenarios.

You’ll work in tight-knit teams to design workflow-based content, collaborate with organizations to develop training, and contribute to projects to make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users and shape their experience with Epic.
• Develop instructional design and training materials and scenarios for delivery.
• Design workflow-based training content with tight-knit teams.
• Collaborate with organizations to tailor training and improve software usability.
• Participate in projects to make Epic more intuitive.
