Inovalon is seeking an Implementation Engineer in the United States to help onboard clients to our healthcare platform. This early-career role blends technical work with customer interaction, including periodic on-call duties outside normal hours.

You will gather requirements, configure systems, analyze data conversions, and document root causes, while collaborating across the full client lifecycle and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years on technical projects in consulting, analyst, developer, or solution engineering.
• Hands-on with web services, APIs, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL with data normalization and flat file handling.
• Experience with development environments and log analysis.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Healthcare technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from customers and clarify data readiness.
• Configure systems per design specs and validate configurations.
• Troubleshoot conversion events and document root causes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for evening/weekend conversions.
• Collaborate across implementation, go-live, and optimization phases.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Maintain deliverables within scope of work.
