You will establish and maintain relationships with patients, visitors, and staff; participate in quality improvement activities; manage timekeeping and time-off requests; and ensure compliant staffing

Qualifications

• Experience as staffing coordinator or similar position.
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliable with a respect to confidentiality.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees.
• Interacts professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees.
• Contributes to and participates in Performance/Quality Improvement activities including data collection, analysis, and risk management.
• Puts into effect the staffing plans for the department and liaises with Units to fill vacancies with Per Diem/Agency staff.
• Assume responsibility for timekeeping and time off requests and maintain staffing records for forecasting needs.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations and prepare staffing operation reports.
