Job summary

Westchester Medical Center in New York is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to act as a liaison between nursing leadership, the nursing operations team, and staff. You will enter and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules in Kronos and validate schedules to meet client core requirements.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in Kronos and Excel, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in hospital or related industry.
• High School Diploma required; BS/BA preferred.
• Proficiency in Kronos and MS Office applications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules in Kronos.
• Validate submitted schedules and fill gaps per requirements.
• Check-in arriving employees and confirm assignments or reassignments.
• Identify staffing deficiencies by position, shift, and assignment.
• Provide data and reports to nursing leadership and operations.
• Assist in processing Requests for Time Off (RTO).
