Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks a Director in the Healthcare Industry Group to lead teams on complex healthcare assignments. You will manage client relationships, design strategic solutions, and deliver financial and operational analyses including cash flow and pro forma statements.

The role requires eight+ years in healthcare consulting, MBA/MS or BA/BS in a related field, and advanced MS Office skills. Travel may be required; A&M offers a competitive salary and performance-based bonus in the U.S.

Qualifications

Minimum eight (8) years of work experience in healthcare with a MedTech focus.
BA/BS and/or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, or related healthcare fields such as MHA or MPH.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must; experience with Visio, Tableau or Power BI, SQL, SPSS is a plus.
Ability to run an engagement with minimal oversight; strong project management.
Solid understanding of the M&A process including Operational and Commercial Due Diligence.
Experience with managing client engagements, deliverables and workstreams while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

Lead engagements and act as main conduit between healthcare clients and our team.
Build, review and present financial models and operating analyses.
Provide PMO support and governance through cost-takeout, transaction, and integration processes.
Develop transition plans and help ensure sustained improvements after project completion.
