Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Business Analyst to support solution portfolios across strategic activities, including problem-solving, data analytics, and design to optimize Living Health solutions. You will develop business models, define processes, and plan operations while considering economic factors.

You will work with peers, leaders, and stakeholders to assess solutions, develop requirements and user stories, and prepare formal recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years in a Business Consulting, Business Strategist, Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst role or experience in a related operational area (e.g. claims, billing, care delivery, customer service, etc.)
• 1 year in the Healthcare Industry (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support definition, scoping, and prioritization of efforts for solution strategy and analysis within workstreams. Provide and support periodic reporting to leadership on assigned project activities.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships across matrixed teams and stakeholder groups to broaden business knowledge and impact of solutioning efforts.
• Lead planning sessions with solution portfolio leaders, and clinician and business stakeholders to understand, document and design improvements to business models, processes, and systems to help prioritize and drive solution development.
• Leverage LEAN, Six Sigma, work simplification, organizational design, scenario planning, performance measurement, and process optimization to deliver actionable insights.
• Participate in Human-Centered Design and core business analysis to identify impacts to people, process, and technology solutions for objectives and business case development.
• Identify root causes of problems and develop recommendations to mitigate root causes.
• Develop documentation, presentations, and communications that detail findings, articulate strategies, provide justification and support prioritization.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
