Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Scheduling Specialist to manage patient and physician appointments across departments.

You will coordinate procedures, confirm and adjust schedules, and ensure accurate data entry in the EHR system while delivering high-quality patient service. Your role collaborates with clinicians and administrative teams to optimize resource use, reduce delays, and support timely care.

Competenze

• Associate degree or healthcare admin certification preferred.
• 0-2 years scheduling/administrative support experience preferred.
• 0-2 years of EMR systems scheduling experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Schedules patient appointments across consultations, tests, procedures and follow-ups.
• Notifies patients of confirmations, cancellations or reschedules with instructions.
• Enters and updates patient information in the EHR scheduling system.
• Works with medical staff to align appointments with priorities and optimize provider schedules.
• Tracks cancellations and no-shows and reschedules as needed.
• Provides administrative support including referrals and file coordination.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
