Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Provider Coordinator in Edina, MN, to support scheduling and administrative operations for the AH MHI team. The role is full-time and hybrid, with an 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule and 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and contribute to a positive patient experience. Experience in medical offices with scheduling and EMR usage is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post secondary medical education preferred.
• 2–5 years in a medical office with scheduling, customer service, or administrative support beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, tests, and admissions across multiple providers.
• Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations as needed; assist with patient registration.
• Provide department support, reception, check-in, and telephone coverage.
• Maintain charts, documents and training materials; support reimbursement processes where needed.
