• Collaborate to ensure accuracy and completeness of scheduled procedures.
• Communicate procedure and prep information to patients and physician staff.
• Obtain accurate and valid physician orders for procedures.
• Achieve productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
• Distribute updated department schedules with complete clinical information.
• Maintain current knowledge of diagnostic procedures and scheduling software.
• Serve as departmental receptionist and office assistant as needed.
• Perform registrations for patients including contract registration for managed care and government payors.
