Job summary

MRO Corporation is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee ROI Specialists across client sites and ensure compliant, timely ROI activities. You will manage scheduling, QA reviews, and payroll, while maintaining strong customer service with patients and staff.

This role requires supervisory experience in healthcare settings, HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office. The position is based on client sites across the United States and emphasizes compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory/management experience in an acute care setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards required.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow among on-site employees at multiple client sites to maximize productivity and quality.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover peak periods, leaves, and vacancies at hospital sites.
• Provides coverage during backlogs, illness, vacations, or leaves of absence of ROI Specialists.
• Performs Quality Assurance monitoring of work performance for ROI Specialists.
• Manages employee schedules and approves bi-weekly payroll, including PTO requests.
• Promotes a positive, courteous service mindset toward patients and staff and responds to customer needs.
• Provides support to the Area Manager as needed.
